Glycomet-1 GM Tablet can interact with medications, including:

• Anti-epileptic medications such as phenytoin. It can produce hyperglycemia (increased blood sugar) and may lead to loss of glycemic control.
• Carbonic anhydrase inhibitors such as topiramate, zonisamide, acetazolamide, or dichlorphenamide. The concomitant may increase the risk for lactic acidosis. 
• Insulin. Co-administration of metformin with an insulin (e.g., sulfonylurea) or insulin may increase the risk of hypoglycemia.
• Antibiotics such as isoniazid. It can produce hyperglycemia and may lead to loss of glycemic control.
• Antiretroviral agents such as dolutegravir. It may reduce the kidney excretion of this tablet. 
• H2 antagonist/antacid agent such as cimetidine. It may reduce the kidney excretion of this tablet. 
• Sympathomimetic and calcium channel blockers. It can produce hyperglycemia and may lead to loss of glycemic control when taken along with this medication.
• Corticosteroids, phenothiazines (anti-psychotic medication), and thyroid medications. These drugs tend to produce hyperglycemia (increased blood sugar) and may lead to loss of glycemic control.
• Estrogens and oral contraceptives. It can produce hyperglycemia and may lead to loss of glycemic control.
• Niacin (nicotinic acid) to prevent and treat niacin deficiency. It can produce hyperglycemia and may lead to loss of glycemic control if taken with this medicine.

Glycomet-1 GM Tablet can interact with diseases, including:

• Heart diseases: Patients with heart failure are more at risk of hypoxia. Therefore, regular monitoring of heart function is required while taking this tablet.
• Severe kidney impairment: This tablet is excreted via the kidney. If you have reduced kidney function, your doctor may need to adjust the dosage of this tablet. 
• Liver disease: This tablet may cause abnormal liver function tests or liver disease such as hepatitis.
• Lactic acidosis: This tablet may cause lactic acidosis as a side effect and worsen the existing condition.

Take the daily dose of Glycomet-1 GM Tablet as prescribed by your doctor. The dosage may change based on individual factors such as the severity of the condition and response to treatment. It is essential to follow the prescribed dosage and not exceed it without consulting your doctor.

If you take an excessive dosage of Glycomet-1 GM Tablet by accident, you may experience hypoglycemia (low blood sugar) and lactic acidosis. Getting immediate medical attention from your doctor or a nearby hospital is essential.

You may take the missed Glycomet-1 GM Tablet as soon as you remember, but if it's almost time for the next dose, skip it and continue with your regular dosing schedule; do not double the dose to make up for the missed one.
