Triglynase 2 Tablet 10

Triglynase 2 Tablet is used to manage type 2 diabetes by helping control elevated blood sugar levels. It improves the body’s ability to use insulin effectively and reduces excess glucose in the bloodstream. Maintaining stable blood sugar with this medicine helps lower the risk of long-term complications such as kidney, nerve, and heart damage.

• Swallow the entire tablet without crushing or breaking it. 
• Take it with food, which is recommended at a fixed daily time for better results.

The Triglynase 2 tablet is taken orally.

Triglynase 2 tablet contains the following ingredients:

• Glimepiride (2 mg): It stimulates the pancreas to release insulin. Insulin is a hormone that helps the body to utilise glucose from the blood for energy. In people with type 2 diabetes, there is either insufficient insulin production or the body's cells become resistant to insulin's effects, leading to high blood sugar levels. Glimepiride helps to lower blood sugar levels by increasing insulin secretion from the pancreas.
• Metformin (500 mg): It decreases glucose production in the liver and improves insulin sensitivity in muscle and fat cells. The body can better use insulin to transport glucose into cells, reducing blood sugar levels. Metformin also helps to lower the amount of glucose absorbed from the gut.
• Pioglitazone (15 mg): It makes your cells more sensitive to insulin. It helps them respond better in the presence of insulin so glucose can enter and be used for energy.

The storage instructions for the Triglynase 2 tablet are as follows:

• Triglynase 2 tablet should be stored at room temperature, at 25°C.
• Please protect it from light and moisture.
• Keep the medicine away from children.
• Do not use this medicine after the expiry date has passed.

• Lose weight gradually: If you need to lose weight, gradually reach a healthy body mass index (BMI).
• Control blood pressure: Keep your blood pressure close to 120/80. This helps reduce the risk of heart problems in diabetes.
• Carbohydrate monitoring: Pay attention to your carbohydrate intake, as they significantly impact blood sugar levels. Focus on complex carbohydrates like whole grains, vegetables, and legumes.
• Fibre-rich foods: Include plenty of fibre in your diet, as it helps regulate blood sugar. Foods like oats, brown rice, and beans are excellent choices.
• Limit Sugary Foods: Minimize the consumption of sugary snacks, beverages, and desserts. Artificial sweeteners can be an alternative.
