Telmiride-CH 6.25 Tablet is used to manage high blood pressure.

Uses of Telmiride-CH 6.25 Tablet are:

Follow these instructions while taking Telmiride-CH 6.25 Tablet:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember, unless it is almost time for your next dose. In that case, skip the missed dose.

Telmiride-CH 6.25 Tablet contains two active components that work together to control blood pressure:

• Telmisartan (40 mg): This component works by blocking the AT1 angiotensin II receptors. This leads to the widening of your blood vessels and a decrease in the effects of aldosterone, which in turn reduces your blood pressure.

• Chlorthalidone (6.25 mg): This thiazide-like diuretic increases the excretion of sodium, chloride, and water by your kidneys. This reduction in blood volume and cardiac output results in a fall in blood pressure. Besides, chlorthalidone decreases the responsiveness of smooth muscle cells in your blood vessels to stimuli that cause them to constrict, further contributing to its blood pressure-lowering effect.

• Store Telmiride-CH 6.25 Tablet at room temperature, ideally below 30 degrees Celsius.

• Keep the product in its original packaging to protect it from light and moisture.
