TASMULINE D TABLET 10 is used to manage moderate to severe urinary symptoms caused by benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) in adult men. Combining two different types of medicines provides better relief than either medicine alone.
It combines tamsulosin, an alpha-blocker that relaxes the muscles in the prostate and bladder neck to improve urine flow immediately, and dutasteride (0.5 mg), a 5-alpha reductase inhibitor that gradually reduces prostate size over months. Take it as prescribed.
Keeping to your follow-up appointments and prostate monitoring supports safe treatment alongside this medicine.
Tell your doctor about any planned eye surgery (cataract or glaucoma) or liver problems before starting, and about other medicines you take. This medicine must not be handled by women who are or may become pregnant. PSA levels are reduced by dutasteride; inform your doctor if PSA testing is being used for prostate cancer screening. Report new breast lumps or nipple discharge.
