Solvin Tablet is used in adults to relieve nasal congestion caused by the common cold, sinusitis, hay fever and other respiratory allergies, helping clear the nasal passages and ease breathing for short-term relief.
Uses of Solvin Tablet are:
• Nasal Congestion: Relieves a blocked nose caused by the common cold.
• Sinusitis: Eases pressure and discomfort from blocked sinuses.
• Hay Fever and Allergies: Relieves nasal symptoms caused by allergic reactions.

Follow these instructions while taking Solvin Tablet:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• You can take it with or without food.

• Do not crush or chew the tablet.

• Don't exceed the recommended dose without consulting your doctor.

• Don't stop taking this medicine without speaking to your doctor first.

Solvin Tablet is taken orally.

Solvin Tablet contains phenylephrine (10 mg), which works in the body in the following way:

• Stimulates alpha 1-adrenergic receptors: Phenylephrine is a sympathomimetic amine that acts as a selective alpha 1-adrenergic receptor agonist. In simpler terms, it stimulates specific receptors in your body that play a crucial role in constricting blood vessels.

• Reduces nasal congestion: When phenylephrine stimulates these alpha 1-adrenergic receptors, it causes the blood vessels in your nasal passages to narrow or constrict (a process called vasoconstriction). This vasoconstriction reduces inflammation and mucus production in these passages, thereby relieving nasal congestion.

• Store Solvin Tablet at a stable temperature between 20°C and 25°C.

• Avoid exposing the medicine to direct light, heat, or moisture.

• Keep the tablet in its original packaging until you need to take it.

• Make sure it is out of reach of children at all times.
