CompositionRevelol AM 25/2.5 Tablet is a medicine used to manage high blood pressure (hypertension), chest pain (angina) and coronary artery disease in adults. It helps reduce the strain on the heart and improves blood flow, lowering the risk of complications affecting the heart, brain and kidneys.
It contains metoprolol, a beta-blocker, and amlodipine, a calcium channel blocker. Take it as prescribed, at the same time each day, with or without food. Do not stop it suddenly, as this may cause your blood pressure or angina to worsen.
Reducing salt in your diet, staying physically active as advised, maintaining a healthy weight and limiting alcohol intake support better blood pressure and heart health alongside this medicine.
Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor if you have heart failure, asthma or breathing problems, or diabetes, or are taking other medicines. Contact your doctor if you notice a very slow heartbeat, marked swelling of the ankles, or worsening breathlessness.
