Eplinice 25mg Tablet 10 is used for the following:

• Managing high blood pressure

• Reducing risk of heart problems after heart attack

• Helping patients with heart failure

• Supporting heart function in left ventricular weakness

• Lowering cardiovascular mortality risk

• Decreasing fluid retention in the body

• Helping control blood pressure with other medicines

• Supporting heart recovery after myocardial infarction

• Reducing strain on weakened heart muscles

• Managing aldosterone-related blood pressure issues

• Take the tablet whole with a full glass of water.

• You may take this medicine with or without food.

• Do not crush or chew the tablet.

• Take this medicine at the same time each day to maintain its effect.

• Continue taking this medicine for as long as your doctor advises.

• Do not stop taking this medicine without consulting your doctor.

Eplinice 25mg Tablet 10 contains eplerenone (25 mg), which works on the body as follows:

• Reduces Sodium and Water Retention: By blocking aldosterone's effects, eplerenone helps your body get rid of excess sodium and water through urine. This reduction in fluid volume helps lower your blood pressure.

• Preserves Potassium: Unlike some other diuretics (water pills), eplerenone helps your body retain potassium rather than lose it. This is why it's called a "potassium-sparing" diuretic.
