Eplegino 25 Tablet 10 is used to treat heart failure and high blood pressure. As a potassium-sparing diuretic, it blocks aldosterone, a hormone that increases fluid retention and blood pressure. By reducing excess fluid and easing the heart’s workload, it supports improved heart function and helps prevent worsening heart failure symptoms.

• Take the tablet whole with a full glass of water.

• You may take this medicine with or without food.

• Do not crush or chew the tablet.

• Take this medicine at the same time each day to maintain its effect.

• Continue taking this medicine for as long as your doctor advises.

• Do not stop taking this medicine without consulting your doctor.

Eplegino 25 Tablet 10 contains eplerenone (25 mg), which works on the body as follows:

• Blocks Mineralocorticoid Receptors: Eplerenone selectively blocks receptors for a hormone called aldosterone in your kidneys and blood vessels. This blocking action prevents aldosterone from causing harmful effects on your heart and blood pressure.

• Reduces Sodium and Water Retention: By blocking aldosterone's effects, eplerenone helps your body get rid of excess sodium and water through urine. This reduction in fluid volume helps lower your blood pressure.
