CompositionENOXAFLO 40MG INJECTION 0.4ML is used to prevent and treat blood clots in conditions such as deep vein thrombosis (DVT) and pulmonary embolism (PE). It is also used in certain heart conditions, including unstable angina and some types of heart attack, often alongside other medicines.
It contains enoxaparin, a low molecular weight heparin. It works by reducing the blood's tendency to clot, which helps prevent existing clots from growing and new clots from forming. It does not dissolve clots that have already formed. It is given as an injection, with the dose determined by your doctor.
If you are shown how to inject this medicine at home, follow the technique exactly and rotate the injection sites. Avoiding activities with a high risk of injury can help reduce the chance of bruising or bleeding.
Tell your doctor about any bleeding problems, recent surgery, stomach ulcers, or kidney or liver disease before starting, and about other medicines you take, especially other blood thinners. Report unusual bruising, blood in the urine or stools, or prolonged bleeding.
