Diziron D Tablet 10

Diziron D Tablet is used to treat vertigo and balance disorders related to inner ear problems. It helps relieve dizziness, nausea, vomiting and spinning sensations, and is also used in Ménière's disease.

Uses of Diziron D Tablet are:

• Vertigo and Balance Disorders: Relieves dizziness and spinning sensations caused by inner ear problems.
• Ménière's Disease: Manages vertigo and nausea associated with Ménière's disease.

Here's how you should take Diziron D Tablet:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water. Don't crush or chew it.

• Take the tablet preferably with meals to avoid stomach upset.

• In case you are taking this medicine to prevent motion sickness, take one tablet 30 minutes before your journey begins.

Diziron D Tablet comprises two active ingredients which work together to manage symptoms of motion sickness and vertigo:

• Cinnarizine (20 mg): As a calcium channel blocker, cinnarizine acts on the inner ear by reducing vasoconstriction. This means it prevents blood vessels from narrowing, thereby improving microcirculation and reducing pressure within the inner ear. Additionally, cinnarizine blocks H1 receptors, exhibiting antihistaminic properties.

• Dimenhydrinate (40 mg): This ingredient works as an antihistamine and anticholinergic agent. Essentially, it suppresses activity in the vestibular system – a part of the inner ear that helps maintain balance – thereby reducing vertigo and nausea. Dimenhydrinate also inhibits the chemoreceptor trigger zone, an area in your brain that controls vomiting.

• Store Diziron D Tablet at a steady room temperature between 15-30°C.

• The Tablet should be kept in its original packaging to shield it from moisture and direct sunlight.

• Always keep this medicine out of reach of children.

• To ensure efficacy, consume the medicine before its expiry date.

• Since Diziron D Tablet is used to manage vertigo and motion sickness, remember to avoid excessive intake of caffeine as it can exacerbate dizziness.
