Dizitac Tablet is used to treat vertigo and the symptoms of Meniere's disease, including dizziness, spinning sensations, nausea, and vomiting. It also helps prevent motion sickness.
It contains a combination of cinnarizine and dimenhydrinate, which act on the vestibular system in the inner ear and the vomiting centre in the brain. By calming overstimulation of the inner ear, this combination controls the sensation of spinning and the digestive upset that comes with it.
Take this tablet after meals as prescribed by your doctor to minimise stomach upset. Because it may cause mild drowsiness, avoid driving or operating heavy machinery until you know how it affects you.
Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor about any history of glaucoma or other underlying conditions.
