DAPAONE SM 10/1000/100 MG TABLET 10 is used for the following:

• Managing type 2 diabetes mellitus in adults

• Controlling blood sugar levels when single medicines fail

• Supporting glucose regulation in metformin-inadequate patients

• Enhancing insulin sensitivity in type 2 diabetes

• Complementing diabetes management in multiple-therapy patients

• Adjunct therapy when dual therapy proves insufficient

• Swallow the tablet whole with a full glass of water.

• Do not crush, break, or chew the tablet.

DAPAONE SM 10/1000/100 MG TABLET 10 contains three active ingredients that work together to control blood sugar levels:

• Dapagliflozin (10 mg): Acts as a sodium-glucose co-transporter 2 (SGLT2) inhibitor, which reduces the reabsorption of filtered glucose from the kidney tubules, leading to increased urinary glucose excretion and lowering of blood sugar levels.

• Metformin (1000 mg): Decreases glucose production in the liver, reduces intestinal absorption of glucose, and improves insulin sensitivity by increasing peripheral glucose uptake and utilisation in the body.
