DDR-D Capsule is used to manage symptoms of gastro-oesophageal reflux disease and to help heal peptic ulcers affecting the stomach, upper small intestine or oesophagus.

Uses of DDR-D Capsule are:

• GERD Symptoms: Helps manage heartburn and reflux caused by stomach acid flowing back into the food pipe.
• Peptic Ulcer Healing: Helps heal sores that develop on the inside lining of the stomach, upper small intestine or oesophagus.

Administer DDR-D Capsule as per these guidelines:

• Follow the dosage and timing instructions provided by your doctor precisely.

• Do not change or exceed the prescribed dose without consulting your doctor.

• Consult your doctor before discontinuing the medication; do not stop taking it without their guidance.

• Adhere to the dietary recommendations given by your doctor.

DDR-D Capsule is taken orally.

DDR-D Capsule comprises two active ingredients:

• Dexlansoprazole (60mg): This is a proton pump inhibitor that works by blocking the H+/K+ ATPase enzyme system in the gastric parietal cells of your stomach. By doing so, it inhibits the final step of stomach acid production which helps reduce acidity and promotes healing of acid-related gastrointestinal conditions.

• Domperidone (30mg): As a prokinetic agent, domperidone enhances gastrointestinal motility by blocking the inhibitory effects of dopamine on smooth muscle activity. This action speeds up gastric emptying and reduces oesophageal reflux.

• Store DDR-D Capsule at room temperature, ideally below 30°C.

• Keep it in a tightly closed container to protect it from air and moisture.

• Avoid direct exposure to light.

• Ensure the medicine is kept out of reach of children.

• Always check the expiry date before use and avoid using the medicine past this date.

• If you're managing gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) with DDR-D Capsule, try to avoid spicy and oily foods as they can increase stomach acid production and worsen your symptoms.

• For peptic ulcer disease, it's beneficial to consume a diet rich in fruits, vegetables, and whole grains as they promote healing by providing essential nutrients.
