Lupisit DM 10/1000 Tablet is used in adults with type 2 diabetes to improve blood sugar control when a single medicine, diet and exercise are not enough on their own.

Uses of Lupisit DM 10/1000 Tablet are:

Lupisit Dm 10/1000 Tablet 10 contains three active ingredients:

• Dapagliflozin (10 mg): This sodium-glucose cotransporter-2 (SGLT2) inhibitor effectively reduces blood glucose levels by decreasing glucose reabsorption in the kidneys and increasing excretion through urine. This occurs regardless of the insulin levels in your body.

• Metformin (1000 mg): Metformin belongs to a class of medications known as biguanides. It helps lower blood sugar levels by reducing the amount of glucose produced by the liver, decreasing glucose absorption in the intestines, and improving insulin sensitivity, which enhances glucose uptake and usage by the body cells.

• Sitagliptin (100 mg): This dipeptidyl peptidase-4 (DPP-4) inhibitor works by slowing down the inactivation of incretin hormones, thus leading to an increase in insulin production from pancreatic beta cells and reducing glucagon secretion from pancreatic alpha cells. This process is dependent on glucose levels in your body.
