Brozeet-LS Syrup is a combination medicine used to relieve a productive, chesty cough and ease breathing difficulty associated with respiratory conditions such as bronchitis, bronchial asthma, and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). It helps clear thick mucus from the airways, making it easier to breathe and cough up phlegm.
It contains levosalbutamol, a bronchodilator that relaxes the airway muscles, along with ambroxol hydrochloride and guaifenesin, which thin and loosen mucus so it can be cleared more easily. Take it as prescribed, using the measuring cup provided, and continue for the duration advised by your doctor even if your cough starts to improve.
Drinking plenty of warm water through the day can help loosen chest congestion and make it easier to bring up phlegm, working alongside the medicine's mucus-clearing action. Avoiding smoke and other airway irritants may also help ease breathing.
Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor if you have high blood pressure, heart palpitations, a thyroid disorder, stomach ulcers, or liver or kidney disease. Use it exactly as prescribed, particularly when giving it to children, and seek medical advice if breathing difficulty or cough worsens.
