CompositionBilajoy M Tablet is used to treat the symptoms of seasonal allergies and to help manage allergic asthma symptoms. It relieves a blocked or runny nose, watery eyes, and sneezing, and helps reduce chest tightness and wheezing triggered by allergens such as pollen or dust mites.
It contains bilastine, an antihistamine that blocks the chemical causing itchy, watery eyes and a runny nose, and montelukast, which reduces inflammation and mucus in the airways and nose. Take it on an empty stomach, at least one hour before or two hours after food, as food can reduce its absorption. Take it at the same time each day for steady control.
Simple measures support treatment. Where possible, identify and avoid your allergy triggers, keep living areas clean and well ventilated, and keep windows closed when pollen counts are high.
Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor about any existing health conditions or other medicines you take. Report any unusual mood or behaviour changes, as these can occur with montelukast.
