Valentas 100 Tablet is used to treat chronic heart failure with reduced ejection fraction, combining valsartan and sacubitril (an ARNI) to relax and widen blood vessels, which significantly improves heart pumping efficiency, reduces the risk of hospitalization, and lowers mortality in adults.

Valentas 100 Tablet is taken orally.

Valentas 100 Tablet contains two key components:

• Sacubitril (49 mg): Sacubitril is a neprilysin inhibitor. Its primary function is to block the enzyme neprilysin, which is responsible for breaking down natriuretic peptides. By inhibiting neprilysin, sacubitril increases these peptide levels which help relax blood vessels, enhance sodium and water excretion, and decrease cardiac stress.

• Valsartan (51 mg): As an angiotensin II receptor blocker or ARB, valsartan blocks the action of angiotensin II. This hormone usually narrows blood vessels and increases blood pressure and cardiac stress.

By working together, sacubitril and valsartan reduce the load on a failing heart, enabling it to pump blood more efficiently.

• Store your Valentas 100 Tablet at room temperature, ideally below 30°C.

• Keep it in the original packaging to protect it from moisture.

• Place it somewhere out of reach of children.

• Check the expiry date before use and do not consume it past this date.

• For managing heart conditions, reduce your intake of salt. Excessive salt can raise blood pressure, putting extra strain on your heart.
