CompositionArnicor 100 Tablet is used to help manage long-term heart failure in adults with a weak heart muscle. It helps the heart pump more effectively, eases breathlessness, and reduces ankle swelling, and it lowers the risk of hospital admission and death from heart-related causes.
It combines sacubitril and valsartan, a group of medicines called angiotensin receptor-neprilysin inhibitors. Take it as prescribed. If you are switching from an ACE inhibitor, a gap of 36 hours is essential before starting, to avoid a serious reaction. Do not take it together with an ACE inhibitor.
Some measures support treatment alongside this medicine. These include reducing salt in your diet, keeping fluid intake within your doctor's guidance, weighing yourself daily as advised, and monitoring for ankle swelling.
Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor about any kidney problems, raised potassium, or a history of angioedema, and about other medicines you take. Report marked dizziness or fainting, worsening ankle swelling, reduced urine output, or swelling of the face or tongue.
