Udapa-M 500 XR Tablet helps control blood sugar in adults with type 2 diabetes when diet and exercise alone aren’t enough. It aids in lowering high blood glucose levels associated with the condition.

Follow these instructions while taking Udapa-M 500 XR Tablet:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water. It's important not to crush or chew the tablet.
• Always take this medicine with food, ideally in the morning.

• If you're switching from separate tablets of dapagliflozin and metformin to this combination tablet, maintain the same total daily dose of each component as advised by your doctor.

• Dapagliflozin (10 mg): Dapagliflozin is a sodium-glucose co-transporter-2 (SGLT2) inhibitor. This means it blocks the reabsorption of glucose in your kidneys and promotes its excretion in urine. This helps remove excess glucose from your body without depending on insulin.
• Metformin (500 mg): Metformin falls under the category of biguanide antidiabetic agents.
