Tobacin Eye/Ear Drops contain tobramycin, an antibiotic used to treat superficial bacterial infections of the eye (such as conjunctivitis) or the outer ear. It works by inhibiting bacterial growth, helping reduce redness, discharge, and irritation. Note: These drops are not effective against infections caused by viruses (such as viral conjunctivitis) or fungi.
To avoid contamination, do not touch the dropper tip to any surface, including your eye or ear. When using for the eye, apply gentle pressure to the inner corner of the eye (near the nose) for one minute after dosing to prevent the medicine from draining into the tear duct. Complete the full course of treatment as prescribed by your doctor.
