Telma LNB 50 Tablet is used to manage high blood pressure (hypertension), particularly in adults with diabetes or a high risk of heart disease. It is also prescribed for resistant hypertension when blood pressure is not adequately controlled with a single medicine. Keeping blood pressure under control lowers the risk of heart attack and stroke.
It contains a combination of telmisartan, which relaxes and widens blood vessels, and nebivolol, a beta-blocker that helps slow the heart rate. Take it as prescribed by your doctor. Continue taking it regularly even if you feel well, as high blood pressure often causes no symptoms. Do not stop this medicine suddenly, as this may cause your blood pressure to rise again.
Reducing salt in your diet, staying physically active, maintaining a healthy weight and limiting alcohol intake can help support blood pressure control alongside this medicine. Regular monitoring of your blood pressure at home can also help track your progress.
Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor if you have any kidney or liver problems, a very slow heart rate, asthma or other breathing problems, or are taking other medicines. It is not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Report marked dizziness, fainting, or swelling of the legs or feet to your doctor promptly.
