Metoprolol Succinate (50 Mg) + Telmisartan (40 Mg)

Tazloc Beta 50 Tablet is used to manage high blood pressure (hypertension). It is a combination medicine containing telmisartan (an angiotensin II receptor blocker) and metoprolol succinate (a beta-blocker).

Lowering blood pressure helps reduce the risk of heart attack, stroke, heart failure and kidney damage. Take it with or without food in the dose, frequency and duration prescribed by your doctor. Do not stop it suddenly, as this can cause a sharp rise in blood pressure.

Reducing salt in your diet, regular physical activity, managing stress, and avoiding smoking and excess alcohol support blood pressure control alongside this medicine.

Before starting, tell your doctor if you have kidney or liver disease, asthma, heart block or a slow heart rate, and about all other medicines, supplements or herbal products you take. It is not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Your doctor may check your blood pressure and kidney function regularly. Follow the prescribed dose, frequency and duration, report persistent or serious side effects, and do not stop the medicine unless your doctor advises you to do so.

Here are some guidelines on how to take Tazloc-Beta 50 Tablet :

Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water. Do not chew, crush or break it.
You can take this medicine with or without food.
Always take your medicine at the same time each day to help you remember it.
If you decide to stop taking this medicine, consult your doctor first. They may want to gradually reduce your dosage rather than stopping it abruptly.
