Composition

Metoprolol Succinate (50 Mg) + Telmisartan (40 Mg)

Metolar TL 50 Tablet is a combination medicine used to manage hypertension (high blood pressure) in adults. Lowering high blood pressure decreases the workload on your heart and significantly lowers the long-term risk of heart attacks and strokes.

It contains telmisartan, an Angiotensin II Receptor Blocker (ARB) that relaxes and dilates blood vessels, and metoprolol succinate, a selective beta-blocker that slows down the heart rate and decreases its pumping effort.

Take this tablet at a consistent fixed time, with or without food, exactly as directed by your doctor. Do not stop taking this medicine suddenly, as an abrupt termination can worsen your condition.

Before use, tell your doctor if you have asthma, liver or kidney disease, a slow resting heart rate, or diabetes. It is strictly not recommended for use during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
