• Antifungals: Medications such as ketoconazole can boost the concentration of telmisartan in your body, potentially leading to an increased risk of side effects.

• NSAIDs: When taken with NSAIDs like ibuprofen or naproxen, they may reduce the blood pressure-lowering effect of Cortel-M 50 Tablet and heighten the risk of renal impairment.

Cortel-M 50 Tablet has no known specific interactions with foods. It can be taken with or without food.

Cortel-M 50 Tablet interacts with the following diseases:

• Liver disease: If you have severe liver problems, using Cortel-M 50 Tablet may worsen your condition due to its potential impact on liver function.

• Heart conditions: If you have severe bradycardia, heart block greater than first-degree, cardiogenic shock, or decompensated heart failure, this medicine might exacerbate your condition.

• Diabetes: The medicine might mask signs of low blood sugar (hypoglycaemia), particularly a rapid heartbeat (tachycardia), in diabetic patients.

• Hyperthyroidism: Cortel-M 50 Tablet may mask symptoms of overactive thyroid (hyperthyroidism).

• Pheochromocytoma: Usage of this medicine should be avoided if you have untreated pheochromocytoma, a rare tumour of the adrenal glands, as it may exacerbate your condition.
