Smuth Cream is used to relieve the swelling, pain, and itching associated with piles. It works by soothing the anal area and improving local blood circulation to reduce inflammation. This cream provides rapid comfort from irritation and supports the natural healing of damaged tissues.

You should use Smuth Cream as follows:

• Ensure that the area to be treated is clean and dry before application.

• Apply a thin layer of cream to the affected area, gently rubbing it in until fully absorbed.

• Usually, the cream is applied two to three times a day or after each bowel movement.

• Wash your hands thoroughly before and after applying the cream.

• Consult your doctor for any specific directions based on your condition.

Smuth Cream is applied topically.

Smuth Cream contains four different active ingredients that work together to manage the symptoms of haemorrhoids:

• Calcium Dobesilate (0.25%): As a vasoprotective agent, calcium dobesilate strengthens blood vessel walls and improves microcirculation in the affected area. This action reduces inflammation, swelling, and bleeding associated with haemorrhoids.

• Hydrocortisone (0.25%): This mild corticosteroid helps reduce inflammation, itching, and redness in the anal area by suppressing the immune system's response and reducing the release of inflammatory substances.

• Lidocaine/Lignocaine (3%): A local anaesthetic that provides fast-acting pain relief by blocking nerve signals that transmit pain sensations.

• Zinc (5%): Known for its astringent and antiseptic properties, zinc soothes and protects the skin. It promotes healing and reduces the risk of infection in the affected area.

• Always store Smuth Cream at a cool room temperature between 15°C to 30°C.

• It should be kept away from direct sunlight and moisture.

• Keep it out of the reach of children.

• Make sure you use this cream before the expiry date mentioned on the product.

• If you’re dealing with haemorrhoids, consider increasing your fibre intake. Foods rich in fibre can help soften stools, reducing the strain during bowel movements.

• Regular physical activity can also help prevent constipation, a common trigger for haemorrhoids. Try to include a moderate exercise routine in your daily schedule.
