CompositionRosuvas F 20 Tablet is used to manage high cholesterol and high triglyceride levels that remain raised despite diet and lifestyle changes. It is a combination medicine containing rosuvastatin (a statin) and fenofibrate (a fibrate).
It helps improve the overall blood fat profile and lowers the risk of heart disease and stroke. Take it with a meal, at the same time each day, in the dose, frequency and duration prescribed by your doctor, as fenofibrate is better absorbed with food. Continue it even when your cholesterol reports look normal.
Cut down on saturated fat, fried food, ghee, sweets and sugary drinks, stay physically active, maintain a healthy weight and limit alcohol.
Before starting, tell your doctor if you have kidney, liver or gallbladder problems, and about all other medicines, supplements or herbal products you take. Report unexplained muscle pain, tenderness or weakness promptly, as this combination can increase the risk of muscle problems. It is not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Follow the prescribed dose, frequency and duration, report persistent or serious side effects, and do not stop the medicine unless your doctor advises you to do so.
