Rapilif D 4 Combipack is used for the following:

• Management of moderate to severe symptoms associated with benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH)
• Improving urine flow
• Lowering the risk of sudden inability to pass urine

Here's how you should take Rapilif D 4 Combipack:

• Swallow each capsule whole with a glass of water. Avoid crushing or chewing it.
• It's best to take the capsules with a meal. This will help your body absorb the medicine better.
• Don't stop taking this medication without consulting your doctor first. It's important to finish your prescribed course, even if you start feeling better.

Rapilif D 4 Combipack contains a combination of two medicines which work together to manage symptoms of BPH:

• Dutasteride (0.5 mg): This component reduces the levels of dihydrotestosterone (DHT), a hormone that can cause prostate enlargement, by inhibiting an enzyme called 5-alpha reductase. As DHT levels decrease, the prostate shrinks over time, making it easier for urine to flow.
• Silodosin (4 mg): Silodosin is an alpha-1 adrenergic receptor antagonist. It helps to relax the smooth muscles in the prostate gland, bladder neck, and urethra by blocking alpha-1 receptors. This action improves urine flow and reduces BPH symptoms.

• Store Rapilif D 4 Combipack in a cool and dry place, ideally below 30°C.
• Avoid exposure to light and excessive heat.
