Silodal D 4 Capsule 10

Silodal D 4 Capsule 10 is used to manage enlarged prostate (bph).

Uses of Silodal D 4 Capsule 10 are:

• Enlarged Prostate (BPH): Eases difficulty in urinating, weak urine stream and the frequent or urgent need to pass urine.
• Night-time Urination: Reduces the increased need to urinate during the night.
• Prostate Size: Helps decrease the size of an enlarged prostate over time.

• Swallow the capsule whole with a glass of water. Do not crush, chew, or open the capsule, as it can affect the medication's effectiveness.

• Take the medicine at the same time each day to maintain a consistent level in the body.

• Take the capsule in the dosage and frequency prescribed by your doctor.

  Do not exceed the recommended dose without consulting your doctor.

Silodal-D4 Capsule is taken orally.

Silodal-D4 Capsule works in the human body in the following ways:

• Silodosin (4 mg): This ingredient acts by selectively blocking alpha-1 adrenergic receptors located in various parts of your urinary tract including the prostate, bladder base, bladder neck, and prostatic urethra. Blocking these receptors relaxes smooth muscles in these areas, improving urine flow and reducing BPH symptoms.

• Dutasteride (0.5 mg): This component blocks the activity of the 5-alpha reductase enzyme in your body. This enzyme is responsible for converting testosterone into dihydrotestosterone (DHT), which causes prostate growth. By decreasing DHT levels, dutasteride helps shrink the prostate and reduce BPH symptoms.

• Store Silodal-D4 Capsule at room temperature, ideally below 30°C.

• Protect the capsules from light and moisture; keep them in their original packaging.

• Always keep the medicine out of reach of children.

• Ensure you use the medicine before its expiry date.

• Maintaining a healthy diet can support your prostate health. Include foods rich in omega-3 fatty acids, such as fish and flaxseeds, in your diet.
