Rancad 500 Tablet is used in adults with chronic angina to improve blood flow to the heart and reduce chest pain, helping to improve exercise tolerance and day-to-day comfort.

Rancad Tablet contains ranolazine (500 mg) and works in the following ways:

• Supports cardiac function in low oxygen environment: When the heart doesn't get enough oxygen, like in individuals suffering from angina, it can cause an imbalance in the levels of sodium and calcium inside the heart muscle cells. Ranolazine helps restore this balance by blocking the entry of sodium into the cells. This indirectly reduces the amount of calcium that enters the cells as well.
