Perinorm Injection is used to treat nausea and vomiting caused by various conditions such as vertigo, migraine, and gastrointestinal disorders. It contains Metoclopramide, which helps speed up stomach emptying and prevents nausea. Additionally, Perinorm Injection can be administered to prevent nausea and vomiting in postoperative patients. Perinorm Injection is also used off-label to treat acute migraine. It acts as an effective adjunctive agent for acute nausea and vomiting and reduces headache intensity in acute migraine.
The Perinorm Injection composition includes Metoclopramide hydrochloride (5mg).
Perinorm Injection should be used with caution in patients with a history of seizure disorder, Parkinson's disease, or depression, as it may worsen these conditions. It should not be used in patients with a history of gastrointestinal obstruction, perforation, or haemorrhage.
