Rabizorb Mps Capsule 15

Rabizorb MPS Capsule is used for the following:

• Management of symptoms related to gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) which are not sufficiently controlled by rabeprazole alone

• Healing and prevention of peptic ulcers caused by H. pylori infection or non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) use

• Handling conditions where there is an excess production of stomach acid, such as Zollinger-Ellison syndrome.

Administer Rabizorb MPS Capsule as per the following instructions:

• Swallow the capsule whole with a glass of water.

• Ensure that you do not crush, chew or open the capsule while taking it.

• It is advisable to take the capsule before a meal to maximise its effectiveness.

• Continue taking the medicine for as long as your doctor has prescribed, even if you start feeling better.

• For specific advice regarding your condition and dosage, consult your doctor.

Rabizorb MPS Capsule is taken orally.

Rabizorb MPS Capsule is a combination medication composed of two active ingredients:

• Domperidone (30 mg): This component is classified as a dopamine antagonist. It aids in enhancing gastric emptying and bowel motility, which means it helps speed up the movement of food through your stomach and intestines. This action effectively reduces acid reflux, preventing stomach acid from flowing back into the oesophagus.

• Rabeprazole (20 mg): This ingredient falls under the category of proton pump inhibitors. It works by suppressing gastric acid secretion in your body. How does it do that? It inhibits an enzyme called H+/K+ ATPase found in the stomach wall cells. This action results in a decrease in the amount of acid produced in your stomach.

The combined action of these two components provides rapid relief from GERD symptoms and aids in the healing of inflammation and ulcers in the stomach and oesophagus.

• The temperature should not exceed 30°C.

• Keep the medicine away from direct sunlight and moisture.

• Make sure you use the capsule before its expiry date.

• To help manage conditions managed by Rabizorb MPS Capsule, avoid trigger foods. These can include spicy, fatty or acidic items which might aggravate stomach issues.

• If overweight, try to lose excess weight. Being overweight can put pressure on your stomach and make stomach acid-related symptoms worse.
