It works by preventing the clumping together of platelets, which are tiny blood cells that help wounds heal and prevent bleeding by forming clots. This action reduces the risk of heart attacks and strokes caused by blocked blood vessels.

• Rosuvastatin (20 mg): A synthetic lipid-lowering agent, rosuvastatin belongs to the class of medicines known as statins. It operates by blocking an enzyme in your liver called HMG-CoA reductase, which is responsible for making cholesterol.
