Esokem-D Capsule is used for managing GERD, peptic ulcers, Zollinger-Ellison syndrome, and functional dyspepsia. It reduces stomach acid production, helping relieve heartburn, stomach discomfort, and pain caused by acid reflux or ulcers.

It's easy to use Esokem-D Capsule. Just follow these simple steps:

• Swallow the capsule whole with a glass of water. Avoid crushing or chewing it.

• Make sure to take this medicine at least one hour before eating a meal, preferably in the morning.

   

• Don't open up the capsule or break it apart.

Esokem-D Capsule is taken orally.

Esokem-D Capsule contains two active ingredients:

• Domperidone (30 mg): This component acts as a dopamine antagonist. It increases the contractions of your stomach and bowel muscles, allowing food to move more effectively through your digestive system. This action helps reduce symptoms like bloating and nausea. Domperidone also tightens the lower esophageal sphincter, reducing the backward flow of stomach acid into the oesophagus.

   

• Esomeprazole (40 mg): This ingredient is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI). It suppresses gastric acid secretion by inhibiting an enzyme system in the gastric parietal cells called H+/K+-ATPase (proton pump), which is responsible for the final step in acid production. By blocking this pump, esomeprazole effectively reduces the amount of acid produced in your stomach, providing relief from acid reflux symptoms and promoting the healing of gastric and duodenal ulcers.

• Always store Esokem-D Capsule at room temperature, ideally between 15-30°C.
• Keep it in a dry place, away from light and moisture.
