Mirabig Tablet is used for the following:

• Managing symptoms of overactive bladder in adults

• Reducing urinary urgency, which is a sudden, intense need to urinate that's hard to control

• Controlling urinary frequency: Managing the number of times one need to urinate

• Managing urge urinary incontinence: This is when there's accidental leakage of urine caused by a sudden, uncontrollable urge to urinate

Follow these instructions while taking Mirabig Tablet:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• Do not crush, chew or split the tablet as it may affect its extended-release properties.

• It's important not to stop taking this medicine without consulting your doctor first.

Mirabig Tablet is taken orally.

Mirabig Tablet contains Mirabegron (50mg), which works on the body as follows:

• Stimulates Beta-3 Adrenergic Receptors: Mirabegron works by stimulating the beta-3 adrenergic receptors in your body. These receptors are primarily found in the bladder.

• Relaxes Detrusor Muscle: By stimulating the beta-3 adrenergic receptors, Mirabegron relaxes the detrusor muscle in the bladder. This muscle plays a key role in bladder control.

• Increases Bladder Capacity: As the detrusor muscle relaxes, the bladder's capacity to hold urine increases. This helps reduce the symptoms of an overactive bladder, including frequent urination and urinary incontinence.

• Store your Mirabig Tablet at a cool, dry place where the temperature stays between 20°C and 25°C.

• Avoid direct exposure to sunlight or moisture.

• Keep the medicine safe, out of reach and sight of children.

• Always remember to use Mirabig Tablet before the expiration date mentioned on the packaging.

• Since Mirabig Tablet is used to manage overactive bladder, make sure you regularly drink enough fluids. This helps keep your urinary system healthy and functioning well.

• Practice pelvic floor exercises, such as Kegels. These can strengthen your bladder muscles and improve your control over urination. Remember, it's always beneficial to consult your doctor before starting any new exercise routine.
