CompositionMifer Spas Tablet is used to relieve muscle spasms, cramping and the pain and inflammation associated with back pain, arthritis, injuries, and menstrual or abdominal discomfort.
It contains dicyclomine, an antispasmodic, and mefenamic acid, a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). They reduce cramps, pain, and inflammation. Take this tablet with food as prescribed, to help reduce stomach upset. Continue taking it only for as long as your doctor recommends, and avoid taking other pain-relieving medicines at the same time unless advised.
Applying a warm compress to the affected area, resting, and gentle stretching can help ease muscle spasms alongside this medicine. Staying well hydrated may also help reduce cramping.
Tell your doctor before starting this medicine if you have a history of stomach ulcers, liver or kidney problems, or are taking blood-thinning medicines. Report any severe stomach pain, black stools or unusual bruising to your doctor promptly. It is not recommended during the later stages of pregnancy.
