LARIAGO INJECTION 2ML is used in the management and prevention of malaria caused by chloroquine-sensitive parasites. It belongs to the class of antimalarial medicines.
This medicine may also be used in the treatment of extraintestinal amoebiasis when considered appropriate by the doctor. It is generally administered when close medical supervision is needed or when oral treatment may not be suitable. It helps control malaria-related symptoms such as fever, chills, sweating, and weakness.
It should always be administered under medical supervision. Inform your doctor if you have heart disease, liver problems, kidney disease, psoriasis, porphyria, epilepsy, hearing problems, diabetes, low potassium or magnesium levels, or any history of vision-related disorders before starting treatment. Also, inform your doctor about all medicines and supplements you are taking, as some medicines may affect heart rhythm or increase the risk of side effects when taken together with this medicine. Continue the treatment for the full prescribed duration even if symptoms improve earlier.
