Grandem Syrup is used to prevent and treat nausea and vomiting linked to chemotherapy, radiation therapy, and surgery. It contains granisetron, an anti-sickness medicine that works by blocking the serotonin (5-HT3) signals in the brain and gut that trigger the vomiting reflex, helping to prevent and control nausea and vomiting during treatment and recovery.
Give the syrup exactly at the prescribed dose and timing, especially around cancer treatment or after surgery. Consult your doctor before use, and tell them if you have any heart-rhythm problems or salt imbalances. If the nausea continues despite treatment, or if you experience unusual side effects such as severe headaches or constipation, check with your doctor promptly.
