Take this tablet with meals as your doctor prescribes, usually once or twice daily, and try to have meals at consistent times, since skipping food after a dose raises the risk of low blood sugar.
Tell your doctor if you have kidney or liver disease, or heart failure, and mention any planned surgery or use of contrast dye for imaging. Watch for signs of hypoglycaemia, such as sweating, shakiness or hunger, and always carry a fast-acting source of sugar.
