Dosetil Lotion 30ml

Dosetil Lotion is used to treat inflammatory skin conditions such as eczema, contact dermatitis, seborrheic dermatitis, psoriasis, and intertrigo. It helps relieve itching, redness, swelling, and skin irritation.

The following steps should be followed while using Dosetil Lotion:

• Before application, clean and dry the affected area of your skin.

• Apply a thin layer of the prescribed amount of Dosetil Lotion to the affected area.

• Rub it gently until it's fully absorbed into your skin.

• Avoid covering the lotion-applied area with bandages or other tight coverings unless advised by your doctor.

• If you see no improvement within 2 weeks, consult your doctor to review your diagnosis.

• Remember, Dosetil Lotion is for external use only.

Dosetil Lotion is applied topically.

Dosetil Lotion contains Desonide (0.05 %), which acts on your body in the following ways:

• Corticosteroid Binding: The desonide in Dosetil Lotion binds to specific receptors inside your cells. This binding triggers the production of proteins that reduce inflammation in your skin.

• Inflammation Reduction: By binding to these receptors, desonide also stops certain substances from causing inflammation in your body.

• Arachidonic Acid Release Decrease: Desonide reduces the release of a substance called arachidonic acid from cell membranes. This action further helps in reducing inflammation.

These combined actions of desonide help in reducing the redness, swelling and itching associated with various skin conditions.

• Store Dosetil Lotion at room temperature, ideally below 25°C.

• Keep it away from direct sunlight, heat, and moisture.

• Always keep the lotion out of reach of children.

• Do not freeze the medicine.

• If you're managing skin conditions like eczema or psoriasis with Dosetil Lotion, try to avoid food allergens known to trigger flare-ups. This could include dairy products, eggs, nuts, soy or wheat.

• Keeping your skin moisturised can help manage dryness associated with skin conditions. Drink plenty of water and use a gentle, fragrance-free moisturiser regularly.
