Desosoft Cream is used to treat inflammatory skin conditions such as eczema, psoriasis and various types of allergic dermatitis. It contains desonide, a mild to moderate strength corticosteroid that helps calm the skin's immune response and ease inflammation.
Apply a thin layer to the affected area, as prescribed by your doctor, gently rubbing it in until absorbed. Avoid applying it on broken skin or near sensitive areas such as the eyes and mouth, unless specifically instructed by your doctor.
Keeping the skin well moisturised with a gentle, fragrance-free cream between applications can support healing and reduce dryness. Wearing soft, breathable fabrics over the treated area may also help minimise irritation.
Tell your doctor if you have a skin infection, or if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, before starting this cream. Seek medical advice if the condition does not show signs of improvement within two weeks of treatment.
