Eritel LN 40 Tablet is used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension). It helps relax blood vessels, improving blood flow and reducing the risk of heart attacks and strokes. It may also be prescribed for certain heart conditions based on a doctor’s recommendation.

Eritel LN 40 Tablet contains two active ingredients that work together to manage high blood pressure:

• Cilnidipine (10 mg): This is a type of medication called a calcium channel blocker. It works by preventing calcium from entering the smooth muscle cells in the walls of your blood vessels. As a result, your blood vessels relax and widen, reducing peripheral resistance and lowering your blood pressure.
• Telmisartan (40 mg): This ingredient is an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB). It blocks the action of a hormone called angiotensin II, which normally causes your blood vessels to narrow. By blocking this action, telmisartan allows your blood vessels to stay relaxed and open, improving blood flow and further decreasing your blood pressure.

The combined effect of these two components provides more effective control over high blood pressure than either component alone.
