Linares Tablet may interact with the following medicines:

Insulin and insulin secretagogues like sulfonylureas when used together with Linares Tablet can increase the risk of hypoglycemia (low blood sugar). It may be necessary to reduce the dose of the insulin or secretagogue.

Potent inducers of P-glycoprotein like rifampin, known as potent inducers of P-glycoprotein, can decrease the effectiveness of Linares Tablet when taken together. In such cases, a different antidiabetic therapy might be considered.

No specific food interactions have been reported with Linares Tablet. However, maintaining a balanced diet is crucial for managing diabetes.

Linares Tablet may interact with the following diseases:

• Pancreatitis: Patients who have a history of pancreatitis should use Linares Tablet cautiously. This is because cases of acute pancreatitis have been reported when using DPP-4 inhibitors like linagliptin, the active ingredient in Linares Tablet.

• Severe renal impairment and end-stage renal disease: Since there's limited clinical experience in these patient populations, Linares Tablet is not recommended for individuals with severe renal impairment or those requiring dialysis.

• Severe hepatic impairment: Due to lack of clinical trial data in this group, Linares Tablet isn't suggested for patients with severe liver damage.
