Desowen AF Lotion 50 ml is used to manage steroid-responsive inflammatory skin conditions in children aged 3 months and older.

Uses of Desowen AF Lotion 50 ml are:

• Atopic Dermatitis (Eczema): Manages mild to moderate eczema in children aged 3 months and older.
• Seborrhoeic and Contact Dermatitis: Manages redness, itching and inflammation caused by these conditions.
• Psoriasis: Manages steroid-responsive psoriasis of the scalp or body when prescribed.

Follow these instructions when applying Desowen Af Lotion 50ml to your child's skin:

• Ensure the affected skin area is clean and dry before application.
• Apply a thin layer of lotion to the affected areas, rubbing it in gently.
• Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes.
• Do not use a bandage or dressing to cover the area unless advised by your doctor.
• After applying, wash your hands thoroughly to prevent spreading any condition to other parts of your child's body or to others.

Desowen Af Lotion 50ml contains desonide (0.05 %), which affects your child's body as follows:
