Deriva Cms Gel 20gm is used to treat acne by reducing inflammation, unclogging pores, and preventing the growth of acne-causing bacteria. It helps in managing breakouts and promotes clearer skin by targeting the root causes of acne.

Deriva Cms Gel 20gmconsists of two active ingredients:

• Clindamycin (1%): A lincosamide antibiotic, clindamycin inhibits protein synthesis in bacteria by binding to specific parts of bacterial cells called 50S ribosomal subunits. It is effective against Propionibacterium acnes, a bacterium associated with acne development.
• Adapalene (0.1%): This retinoid-like compound works by binding to specific receptors in your skin cells called retinoic acid receptors (gamma and beta). These receptors play a crucial role in controlling skin cell growth and inflammation, both of which are involved in acne development. Adapalene's action leads to reduced formation of microcomedones (tiny skin blockages), one of the first stages of acne lesion development, and decreased skin inflammation.
