Adaple-C Gel is used to treat acne.

Uses of Adaple-C Gel are:

• Acne: Treats pimples, blackheads and whiteheads.
• Pore Unclogging: Normalises skin-cell turnover to unclog pores.
• Bacteria Control: Reduces acne-causing bacteria.

Apply Adaple-C Gel as suggested below:

• Ensure the affected skin area is clean and dry prior to application.

• Apply a thin layer of the gel to the affected area once daily in the evening.

• Avoid applying near your eyes, lips, and mucous membranes.

• Remember that a pea-sized amount is usually enough to cover your entire face.

• After applying, wash your hands immediately to prevent accidental ingestion or application to other areas.

• Consult your doctor for any specific instructions regarding the use of this medicine.

Adaple-C Gel is applied topically.

Adaple-C Gel contains two active ingredients:

• Adapalene (0.1%): This synthetic retinoid binds to certain nuclear receptors in your body, specifically those associated with retinoic acid (gamma, beta, alpha). By doing so, it can modulate cellular differentiation, keratinization (the process where cells become filled with keratin), and inflammatory processes. This action helps normalise the shedding of follicular epithelial cells – these are cells that line the follicles in your skin and their shedding can lead to acne.

• Clindamycin (1%): As a lincosamide antibiotic, clindamycin works by inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis at the ribosomal level – this is a crucial step in the multiplication of bacteria. It achieves this by binding to a specific component known as the 50S ribosomal subunit and affecting peptide chain initiation. In simple terms, it stops bacteria from growing and multiplying.

• Store Adaple-C Gel at a temperature below 25°C.

• Shield it from light and avoid freezing the product.

• Ensure the tube is tightly sealed after use to prevent air exposure.

• Keep it out of the reach of children.

• To manage acne effectively, maintain a balanced diet rich in fruits, vegetables, and lean proteins. These foods can help boost your skin's health.

• Exercise regularly as it increases blood flow, helps nourish skin cells and prevent acne. However, remember to cleanse your skin thoroughly after workouts to eliminate sweat and bacteria.
