It contains adapalene, a topical retinoid, and clindamycin, an antibiotic. Adapalene helps unclog pores and renew the skin, while clindamycin reduces acne-causing bacteria and inflammation.
Apply a thin layer to the affected area after cleansing, in the evening, as directed. A little dryness and mild irritation are common at first.
Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or planning pregnancy before use, as topical retinoids are generally avoided in pregnancy. The skin can become more sensitive to the sun, so use sunscreen and avoid excess sun.
