It contains dapagliflozin, which belongs to a group of medicines called SGLT2 inhibitors. It works by helping the kidneys remove excess sugar and salt from the body in the urine. Take it daily, with or without food, as prescribed.

Tell your doctor about any kidney problems or repeated urinary or genital infections before starting, and about other medicines you take. Report severe stomach pain with vomiting, signs of dehydration, or symptoms of a urinary or genital infection.
