Ctd Mt 6.25/25/40 Tablet 10 is used for the following:

• Management of essential hypertension

• Lowering elevated blood pressure

• Reducing risk of cardiovascular events

• Prevention of heart attacks in high-risk patients

• Prevention of strokes in hypertensive individuals

• Control of blood pressure in resistant hypertension

• Regulation of blood pressure when single medicines are insufficient

• Cardiovascular protection in hypertensive patients

Follow these instructions while taking Ctd Mt 6.25/25/40 Tablet 10:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a full glass of water.

• Do not crush, break or chew the tablet, as it is an extended-release formulation.

• You may take this medicine with or without food.

• Take it at the same time each day to maintain consistent blood levels.

Ctd Mt 6.25/25/40 Tablet 10 contains three active ingredients that work together to lower blood pressure:

• Telmisartan (40 mg): This angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) prevents a hormone called angiotensin II from binding to its receptors in blood vessels, preventing blood vessel narrowing and allowing them to relax and widen, which lowers blood pressure.

• Chlorthalidone (6.25 mg): This thiazide-like diuretic works on your kidneys to increase the amount of water and salt removed from your body through urine, which reduces blood volume and lowers blood pressure.

• Metoprolol Succinate (25 mg): As a cardioselective beta-blocker, it blocks certain receptors (beta-1 adrenergic receptors) in your heart, reducing your heart rate and the force of heart contractions, which helps lower blood pressure.

• Store at room temperature (not exceeding 30°C) in a dry place.

• Keep the medicine protected from light and moisture.

• Store in the original packaging until ready to use.

• Always keep out of reach of children.

• Do not use after the expiry date printed on the package.
