CompositionMETOSARTAN CH 25/6.25 TABLET 10 is used to manage high blood pressure (hypertension) in adults. It is a combination medicine that helps lower blood pressure and controlling high blood pressure helps reduce the risk of serious cardiovascular events such as heart attack, stroke, and heart failure.
It contains telmisartan, metoprolol succinate (a beta-blocker), and chlorthalidone (a thiazide-like diuretic). Take it as prescribed. Continue taking it as prescribed, even when you feel well, as high blood pressure often causes no symptoms, and stopping suddenly without consulting your doctor can cause blood pressure to rise again.
Reduce salt intake and avoid high-sodium foods, as this helps improve the blood pressure-lowering effect of this medicine. Monitor blood pressure regularly as advised by your doctor.
Tell your doctor before starting if you have kidney or liver problems, heart failure, diabetes, or low potassium levels, and if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Report any dizziness, faintness, unusually slow heartbeat, or swelling of the ankles to your doctor right away.
