Crevast F10 Tablet 10

Crevast-F10 Tablet is used for the following:

• Management of high total cholesterol levels.

• Control of mixed dyslipidemia, a disorder involving abnormal lipid levels.

• Controlling hypertriglyceridemia, a condition leading to high levels of triglycerides.

• Lowering the risk of heart attack, stroke and arterial revascularization procedures in individuals with multiple risk factors but no evident coronary heart disease.

Here's how you should take Crevast-F10 Tablet:

• Swallow the tablet whole with water.

• Avoid crushing or chewing the tablet.

• Always follow your doctor's instructions. Never take more than the recommended dose without checking with your doctor first.

• It's important not to stop taking this medication without speaking to your doctor first.

Crevast-F10 Tablet is taken orally.

Crevast-F10 Tablet contains two active ingredients:

• Fenofibrate (67 mg): This ingredient activates a receptor in your body called peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor α (PPAR-α). By doing this, it increases the breakdown and removal of harmful fatty substances from your blood. Fenofibrate also works to increase the production of good cholesterol or HDL-C.

• Rosuvastatin (10 mg): This ingredient blocks an enzyme in your body known as HMG-CoA reductase which is involved in making cholesterol. By blocking this enzyme, rosuvastatin effectively helps lower levels of harmful cholesterol in your blood. It also inhibits the formation of VLDL (a type of bad cholesterol), thereby reducing the total number of VLDL and LDL particles in your blood.

• Store Crevast-F10 Tablet in a tightly closed container, away from light and moisture.

• Maintain an ideal room temperature between 10°C to 25°C.

• Keep the medicine out of reach from children.

• Since Crevast-F10 Tablet is used to manage abnormal lipid levels, you should follow a diet low in fats, cholesterol, and sugars. This can help enhance the medicine's effectiveness.

• Regular physical exercise, like walking or cycling for at least 30 minutes a day, can help improve your overall heart health and support the lipid management process.
